The 2026 academic year undergraduate open elective course, “Tsukuba Creative Camp Basic” (Course No. 8331204), will commence on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Many well-known businesses began with a simple idea. The motivation to put such ideas into action is the essence of an entrepreneurial mindset.
In this course, students will participate in hands-on workshops where they form teams and experience the process from idea generation (business concepts) to business model development.
In addition, during the second class session on Wednesday, April 22, we will welcome Ms. Marika Seki, Representative Director and CEO of MamaWell Co., Ltd. who will deliver a guest lecture on initiatives that support the creation of work environments where pregnant women can continue working with peace of mind.(The lecture will be conducted in Japanese only.)
*Attendance is also open to students who are not enrolled in the course, as well as faculty and staff members.

This program is offered as an undergraduate open elective course at the University of Tsukuba, and students enrolled at the University of Tsukuba may earn one academic credit upon successful completion.
The course registration period is the same as that for Spring Term A.
